LISA LEADY

Lisa Leady qualified for Groom Team USA in 2000. Lisa is a Certified Master Groomer who has been grooming full time for 13 years and owns Chez Paws, Dog and Cat grooming in Hoffman Estates, IL for 7 years. She got her early start grooming at a very young age in her Family's own grooming salon, "Debonaire". Also during that time she has also shown and bred champion Smooth Fox Terriers for ten years.

After her first dog grooming competition in 1996 at the All American Grooming Show, Lisa was already hooked because she realized just how much more there was to be learned in dog grooming. She is extremely proud of here multiple accomplishments, making Groom Team USA after only four years of competing. This is Lisa’s dream come true.

Lisa is also a firm believer that groomers require top quality continuing education and feels she learns something new every time she attends a show and competes. She believes becoming a member of Groom Team USA is a tremendous accomplishment that would not have been possible without the professional input, sharing of knowledge and ideas from both past and present Groom Team members. Thank you each and every one of your help. Also, her interest in Groom Team was to challenge herself to see how far she could take simple grooming to top show cuts.

Lisa’s future dream is becoming a Groom Team hopeful for 2001, as she strives to climb this prestige Groom Team ladder of success.
